Our New Facility

On August 14, we officially broke ground on our new facility located on an 86-acre site on Moore Drive in West Harrison. It was an exciting day—one that included our team, local officials, and community partners who have supported this vision from the beginning. This project represents a $28.5 million investment into the region and will create 130 new jobs with an average wage of $27.78 per hour. Construction is now underway, and we expect the facility to be fully operational by the end of 2026. We selected Maxwell Construction of Greendale, Indiana as our design-build partner, and we’re thrilled to be working with another locally rooted company that understands this community as deeply as we do.

As longtime Indiana residents, bringing Whitewater Processing home to Dearborn County is personal for us. The level of support we’ve received from local government—from planning to approvals to collaboration has been incredible. This project has truly been a community effort. Indiana ranks among the top states in the country for turkey production, and we’re proud to play a role in supporting local farms, creating jobs, and contributing to a stronger regional agricultural economy.

West Harrison truly offers what we need to grow: strong transportation access, a reliable and skilled workforce, and a community that understands the value of agriculture and food production. We look forward to sharing progress updates as construction moves forward. More than anything, we’re excited to get to work, create jobs, support local producers, and build something that serves this community for decades to come.

Thank you for being on this journey with us.
